Modified AFM-Probes

Dear visitor, to produce our chemical probes we use only tested probes from quality companies. If requested, we can also modify any other type of probe.


CH3-Modification (hydrophobic):

To detect hydrophobic contrasts in H2O using the hydrophobic effect.
Tip radius: 7nm - 500nm, spring constants: 0.01 N/m - 40 N/m.

CF3-Modification (hydrophobic, polar):

Anti-sticking tips, strongly hydrophobic. To detect hydrophobic contrasts in H2O using the hydrophobic effect.
Tip radius: 7nm - 500nm, spring constants: 0.01 N/m - 40 N/m.

NH2-Modification:

NH3+ , Detection of basic functional groups, charged groups, etc. in H2O
Tip radius: 7nm - 500nm, spring constants: 0.01 N/m - 40 N/m.

COOH-Modification:

COO- , Detection of acidic functional groups, charged groups, etc. in H2O
Tip radius: 7nm - 500nm, spring constants: 0.01 N/m - 40 N/m.

OH-Modification (H-Bounds):

Detection of polar groups and specific detection of OH-groups about temporary H-bonds in Hexadecane.
Tip radius: 7nm - 500nm, spring constants: 0.01 N/m - 40 N/m.

Titan-Modification:

Titan-coating, film thickness: 10nm - 500nm
Tip radius: 7nm - 500nm, spring constants: 0.01 N/m - 40 N/m.

Gold-Modification:

Gold-coating, film thickness: 10nm - 500nm
Tip radius: 7nm - 500nm, spring constants: 0.01 N/m - 40 N/m.

Biological Modification:

Proteins, Enzymes, Antibodys...a great amount of biological modifications are possible - please contact us for details.

Particle Modification:

Polystyrene particle, silica particle, gold particle...
Particle with functional surface (CH3, CF3, NH2, COOH, OH, Proteins, Enzymes, Antibodys...)
Modified probes with particle sizes from 5µm to 50µm are possible.

  • The modified probes are chemical stable about 6 month by storage in high cleanly ethanolic solvent
  • Minimum order: 10 tips per modification.
  • Delivery time ca. 4 weeks.
